Actually they’re blaming the victim, the nurse.
That will go over well with other nurses who might be taking care of ebola patients.
Yah, goes over like a turd in a punchbowl with THIS particular nurse!
I will wait before assigning victim status to anyone involved in this fiasco.
Yep...a week ago, American nurses were saying the medical establishment wasn't prepared to handle Ebola. At the same time, the CDC was saying everything was under control.
Gee...who to believe?
In the case you didn’t know, in the medical field it is always the nurse who is to blame for anything that goes wrong with a patient. Most hospitals believe nurses are disposable. In the OR, when a patient dies during surgery, a code is called and the patient is ambu-bagged all the way to the ICU....so they can say the patient did not die during surgery...dies in the ICU, therefore the surgeon and anesthesiologist are blameless (or so the hospital system where I work believes.) ...death during surgery is a big black mark against the hospital...death in the ICU can be swept under the rug.
I expect to see a lot of nurses quit because of the remarks of CDC Chief Idiot Frieden.
