Holy cow! Are they made of pure gold...or titanium? Seems really high for sound suppressors w/ no paper. Someone was going to make a healthy profit.

They were that expensive to insure the ‘silence’ of the manufacturer. /sarc

The word is he used basic machining to make “solvent trap” adapters. The adapter just allows for a fuel or oil filter to be placed centered over a threaded gun muzzle. Low tech enough that it could literally have been made anywhere while providing a light level of suppression. Literally any competent machinist could make one for a couple dollars in parts and labor.

Uh, $10,000 for 239 silencers (er, suppressors) amounts to less than $42 each.
