I wonder if this is related to the number of homosexual clergy members? Besides those that cost the Church millions in homosexual rape cases, there are plenty more out there. LOL you may be right, but that's not what Catholics are saying elsewhere.

The clergy is one of several fields where people who want access to minors can get it; incredibly (/s), these people seek work in such fields...
I won’t paint all clergy with a broad brush, but understand why some people do.
