Britains anti-EU UK Independence Party said on Sunday it would use its growing success to try to secure an early referendum on leaving the European Union, after its support hit a record high of 25 percent in an opinion poll.
The poll, published days after UKIP won its first elected seat in Britains parliament at the expense of Prime Minister David Camerons Conservative Party, suggested it could pick up more seats than previously thought in a national election in May.
UKIP favors a British exit from the European Union, known as a Brexit, and tighter immigration controls. It has shaken up the British political landscape, challenging its traditional two-party system and piling pressure on Cameron to tack further to the right.

UKIP is rising and the major parties are running scared....This needs to happen in the United States with a new party that replaces the D’s and R’s.....
I am interested to know where Farage stands on the recent vote on recognition of the Palestinian State.
I’m surprised ther isn’t more mention of the close results of the other by-election that Labour only just won.
UKIP is staunchly anti-immigration which means it doesn't pander to the Muslim voters in Londonstan or elsewhere. Unfortunately UKIP doesn't have much voice in the British Parliament...yet.
He is pretty much an isolationist who doesn’t want to get involved in global affairs that don’t affect Britain.
As am I.
I dont know what Farage’s personal opinion is but I know there are both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian groups within UKIP.
