I suspect he knew he was exposed or sick and got “hired” by NBC to give him employer health coverage and status as an NBC employee so he could get airlifted to the US at company expense

There’s a site on go fundme.com asking for donations for a 500000.00 medical bill. It appears they have about 50000.00 of it so far. Evidently there’s no insurance.
Oh I just noticed they are only asking for 100000.00 now instead of the 500000.00 they were previously.
