By moving the standards of social norms as regards the purpose of the union. If it is for the satisfaction of the adults, that's one set of consequences. If it is about succeeding generations, then things are quite different.

Right. It is not acceptable and it is the pretending that bothers me. There is way too much of that going on. The signposts telling us how bad this is for society are obvious to anyone honest enough to see them. We are trying to point out those signposts and talking until we are hoarse, but they rest are not listening. They trample our salient arguments with banalities and ignorance. It is so frustrating.
And “b”, the homosexual mockmarriage, is nothing but an incubator for psychologically screwed up children. Many many people raised within those relationships have severe sometimes irreparable damage.
