This is where Mona Charen has joined the liberal chorus. We should not give social acceptance. It is not right to allow homosexuals to adopt children while hetero couples wait. We do not have to cast stones but we should never pretend that homosexuality is acceptable no matter how prevalent it becomes.

Right. It is not acceptable and it is the pretending that bothers me. There is way too much of that going on. The signposts telling us how bad this is for society are obvious to anyone honest enough to see them. We are trying to point out those signposts and talking until we are hoarse, but they rest are not listening. They trample our salient arguments with banalities and ignorance. It is so frustrating.
