I went to the Apple web site, and ordered an iPhone 6 64 GB. This is because iOS 8 occupies 4GB leaving you only with 11 on the 16GB iPhone 6. I thought if apps keep getting bigger, then I need more room.

Anyway this was on Sunday Afternoon at little after 5pm on Oct 5th with AT&T. They shipped it on Monday at 12:25am (7 hours later). So it was about 7 days coming straight from China.

Interesting. We ordered at the ATT store at the end of Sep. Black/Grey 16, White/Silver 16, and a Black/Grey 64 6+. We were told the 16s would ship in “a couple days” and the 6+, “a couple weeks” even though the paperwork had separate dates ranging from 10/6 to 11/15.

The Black/Grey 16 shipped the next day. The White/Silver date has changed a couple of times and is now back to the original date. No news on the 6+ at all.
