Please note the later degrees: Frieden graduated from Oberlin College (BA), Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (MD) and Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health (MPH). He completed training in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and sub-specialty training in infectious diseases at Yale University.
A BTT - I was suckered. Mea culpa.
Based on Frieden's performance so far, he may have forgotten almost everything he learned after he graduated from Oberlin.
Frieden may not have even read his own website. If the NY Times reporting is accurate, my DENTIST routinely uses as much protection as the CDC is recommending for hospital workers treating Ebola!
NY Times: "How Hospital Workers Are Supposed to Treat Ebola Safely"
"Within the dozens of pages of Ebola information, the instructions for health care workers include a summary of the personal protective equipment that must be worn:
* Gloves
* Fluid-resistant or impermeable gown
* Goggles or a face shield
* Face mask over the nose and mouth
"They also suggest that in certain situations that involve large amounts of blood, vomit or other fluids, more protective equipment might be required such as a second pair of gloves, shoe covers and leg covers."
