U.S. keeps custody of Marine suspect in Philippines murder case

“Under the Visiting Forces Agreement, the custody of the erring soldier stays with the Americans,” General Gregorio Catapang said after a meeting with Admiral Samuel Locklear, head of the U.S. Pacific Command.
Chuck Little, a spokesman for U.S. Marines in the Pacific, said Locklear had told all U.S. warships remotely related to the incident to stay pending an investigation into the killing of Jeffrey Laude, 26, who was found strangled on Saturday in Olongapo City.

I am not justifying this in any way.
But, I’ve heard of a number of such killings and violence against “trans” people. And what happened in other cases, and apparently happened here, is that the men turned violent when they discover that the girl is not really a girl.
If you get my meaning.
Not to excuse this in any way. But “trans” people who are into what appears to be prostitution are taking their lives in their hands, due to the men being shocked that they are not truly female.
Sadly, you are correct, that is why this trans person is dead. The marine found something he didn’t expect to find.
There have been a few other cases in the past few years just like this. Apparently men in this situation can become very angry and fly into a rage, when they discover that their “girl” is not really a girl.
Yeah well these particular marines are a holes of the highest order we need this cooperation against China and this idiot committed a high profile murder when he could have picked out 50,000 other bar girls. No excuse indeed. marines should be way better under self control. They needed to be told not about bar girls but about not killing the locals.

If the Marine killed this MAN, then he should be charged with some degree of murder, period. If he was shocked because he took off “her” clothes and found out it was a man, then that perhaps should factor in, but the Marine should not be excused. Besides, if this was a hooker, I agree with the other posters that you have to be ready for anything with a Filipino hooker.
Certainly not all men. Some guys like that sort of thing. With a shrug they "plow" ahead and make the best of the situation.

Well, I stand corrected if some men want a “trans” whatever “girl”. That’s a new one on me.
How can one tell the difference? Good question. Clues. A) A male has a penis. B) A female has a vagina. If , upon closer inspection, it has a penis, It is safe to assume it is a male. By the same token, if a vagina is observed it is safe to assume it is a female. In either instance, act accordingly.
Men react with anger when they are tricked by pervs. How disgusting to be kissing and getting excited over a tranny.
I think if the tranny deceives a man and he loses his composure and lashes out violently, that should not be a crime.
