When I was afloat the the Med in ‘78 - ‘79, we hit Barcelona, Spain for liberty call. Our CO gave us the standard liberty brief for Barcelona. He said if you walk up the location known as “The Ramblas” make sure you stay on the east side of the avenue. If you venture to the west side and pick up a girl, make sure you play “Show and Tell” before “engaging” her.
Right! I don’t know how it is now, but the same thing went for Ybor City, Florida at one time. In other words, don’t be surprised at what you see when you look up a dress.
