Streisand has a new album out of her old hits as duets, called "Partners." She didn't drag out her classic Democratic Party version of "The Way We Were." But her rabid partisanship is getting the better of her on The Huffington Post, dragging out the silly canard that "Republican budget cuts" stopped an Ebola vaccine. She was pleading with women to turn out and vote for liberals, since they're so much smarter than men.

What,she’s still alive?Imagine my disappointment.
Shut up and sing.
Bite me Babs!
This game is too easy!
Maybe she should help her homeless obese stepson
WaPo gave that lie four Pinocchios ... I guess he saw Bab’s nose.
Once again Babs affirms the well known fact that there is an inverse relationship between bra and brain size! The bigger the TaTa’s, the smaller the gourd.
One of the guys I work with informed me that we have recently lost 50,000 health care workers due to budget cuts.
Republican budget cuts to health care is going to be the talking points until the election. We need to develop good sound bites for a response.
She should have stuck to doing porn movies.
Sequester was Obama’s idea.
The vaccine is not a government product. It is from private sector. And the repubs voted to give massively to the CDC in the last couple of years.
And as far as I know, Emory is not a government hospital and they don’t have a magic bullet either. They are just more competent in isolated patient care.
Somebody get on that board and set those low/misinformation board voters and set them straight.
( I know I should be the one but their sign-in procedure is too questionable for me.)
Oh thank goodness.
I was waiting for Barbara Streisand to weigh in on this issue.
Of course, between the fiscal years 2000 and 2004, NIHs budget jumped a whopping 58 percent. HHSs 70,000 workers will spend a total of $958 billion this year, or about $7,789 for every U.S. household. A 2012 report on federal spending including the following nuggets about how NIH spends its supposedly tight funds:
Obama’ budget called for cuts to the CDC.
The GOP gave the CDC more than Obama wanted
CDC wins in budget deal
This influx of cash will raise the CDC budget to $6.9 billion, which is $567 million more than it received in 2013.
This is more than the agency anticipated, because the president’s fiscal year 2014 budget request for it was just $6.6 billion — a decrease of $270 million from fiscal 2012.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will see an 8.2 percent budget increase for fiscal 2014, thanks to a $1.1 trillion spending bill announced by Congress Jan. 13.

It is extremely annoying that one is forced to acknowledge the existence of a worm like Mark Zuckerberg in order to post comments on a website, especially one with so many juicy targets as Huff and Puff.
Yeah, 17 trillion in budget cuts.
Oh wait.......
