In the border town of Kobane, Kurdish defenders backed by a flurry of US-led air strikes were reported to have stopped IS fighters from gaining ground and even recaptured some positions.ISIS will stay in that region. U.S. strikes are temp, band-aid approach. You can't get rid of ISIS and alike by bombing them. It's a matter of ideology and that ideology for ISIS comes from the U.S. allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the first instance. Kill a thousand ISIS fighers, and a thousand more will surface. You need to eradicate the ideology, not just related fighters.
