Special Statement
Yale-New Haven Hospital admitted a patient late Wednesday night for evaluation of Ebola-like symptoms. We have not confirmed or ruled-out any diagnosis at this point. We are working in cooperation with City, State and Federal health officials. There is no further information available at this time.

US Citizens who have contracted ebola within the United States = 2 (both nurses in an ebola ward).
US Citizens who have not contracted ebola 316,999,998.
Wanna weigh risks? Your kids are far more likely to be hit by a bus on the way to an airport than contract ebola on way home.

A researcher just back from West Africa. Was going to do a voluntary quarantine, but experts decided it wasn’t necessary.

Did you know that modern culture was always thought to be the perfect vehicle for a disease like ebola to spread? I don't know what that even means. It's a serious disease and protocols have been way too lax, but we've run successful quarantines before and can do so again.
