A relevant paradox.

Do those of us with college age kids fly them home for Thanksgiving this year?

Remember that the democrat Governor in CT has authorized the CT Commissioner of Public Health all the powers she needs to stop the spread of ebola

Declaration of Public Health Emergency (Conn. Ebola)(PDF)

Now we will see how much freedom will be lost in the name of safety

Good grief. Population of the United States = 317,000,000.

US Citizens who have contracted ebola within the United States = 2 (both nurses in an ebola ward).

US Citizens who have not contracted ebola 316,999,998.

Wanna weigh risks? Your kids are far more likely to be hit by a bus on the way to an airport than contract ebola on way home.

I suspect that you and other worried parents will have an answer to your question by the end of the month.

My kids are grown and out of college. If I was in your shoes today I would not be putting them on a plane.

I’ve already been hit by a bus. That was 25 years ago.

Alter..listen while I appreciate ur wish to remain subdued and rational...let me ask you this;

Did you know that modern culture was always thought to be the perfect vehicle for a disease like ebola to spread?

Would it be wrong to hang around polling places wearing a hazmat suit in democrat areas on election day?

A researcher just back from West Africa. Was going to do a voluntary quarantine, but experts decided it wasn’t necessary.

And that is why it was always though modern society was subject to a mass casualty plague....arrogance and reliance.

I don't know what that even means. It's a serious disease and protocols have been way too lax, but we've run successful quarantines before and can do so again.
