Planned Parenthood mobilizes for Hagan
The Hill ^ | October 18, 2014 | Jessica Taylor

If Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) pulls off an unlikely reelection win, she may have a behind -the-scenes ground army to thank.

Chief among the outside groups devoting resources is Planned Parenthood, working for months in the Tar Heel State to mobilize a massive turnout and targeting operation, hoping to lift the vulnerable incumbent over her GOP challenger, state House Speaker Thom Tillis.

But while the group praises her defense of women’s healthcare access and abortion rights, they see an enemy in Tillis, hitting him over bills in the state’s unpopular legislature they say would roll back access to healthcare, contraception and abortion, as well as cut public funds that went to the group and that critics say are used for abortion services.

Even as her red-state Democratic peers have seen their numbers start to slide, Hagan has maintained a slim edge in most polls. If that tepid lead holds, the early efforts of the group may be one reason.

In a Friday interview on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers,” Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laugens said defending Hagan has long been atop their list, calling the freshman senator an “amazing champion for women.”

When feminists use the word “access,” it’s a code word for other peoples’ money.

I know Democrats have no morals and I’m sure Hagan doesn’t care who helps her win, but my conscience would be bothering me if I had Babykillers Inc. aka Planned Parenthood out there stumping for me.

UMMMMM.....If anybody rolled back access to healthcare it was Hagan. Without her vote ObolaCare wouldn’t exist.

One often asks oneself whether a Democrat politician is evil or stupid. Sometimes one considers that it’s both. However, in the case of Kay Hagan, the stupid overwhelmingly wins. She is so dumb that she makes former governor Beverly Perdue look smart.

But her campaign believes women’s issues will help carry her across the finish line. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well, Mark Udall made women's issues his primary campaign message in CO, and even the liberal Denver Post said it was a mistake. It didn't work for him. Having said that: I've been warning people for months.....DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE DEMOCRATS GROUND GAME. Add to the Dems ground game Planned Parenthood, The Unions, NEA, Same-Sex Marriage Proponents........ The night of Nov. 4th might be a long, long night.

She has no chance to top 50%, but the lairtarian may enable her to win.

I wouldn’t mind if NC had GE runoffs.

She talks and loses votes.

That's because she's not smart enough to conceal her destructive leftist agenda.

Kay “The Hag” Hagan is an advocate for the baby killers. She is a witch. They will all have to answer on Judgment Day for having “hands that shed innocent blood”. (Proverbs 6:17)

I think every state should have General Election Run-offs. That would keep Democrats from planting "Libertarians" in the Election. But, hell, the Pubbies let them get away with it, without countering with a Green Candidate or Independent candidate, so, they deserve what they get.
