Well, you would never know it from reading the spin and all the embellishment NBC added in their article.


Did he have to declare that he was not around anyone with ebola before he came here? If he did, he’s a liar because he sure should have known.

I don’t really know the rules for someone coming here.

Apparently he did lie on the forms he filled out but said he did tell the hospital where he was from. IMO the blame falls on both Duncan for coming to the U.S. after being exposed and the U.S. government who subsequently issued a visa to him. NBC is just piling on with their rhetoric of blaming the hospital for everything that went wrong. And, of course, one of the New York legislators said if he had gone to New York instead of Texas he still would have been alive. I wish for our sake in Texas that he had gone to a New York hospital instead.
