Scott Brown is staging a late-game comeback in New Hampshire and the analysts at the Cook Political Report have taken notice.
Even though Scott Brown has been trailing for months in the polls, a couple of new surveys show hes nipping at Sen. Jeanne Shaheens (D-NH) heels. Perhaps in part because he's become more visible in recent weeks, or perhaps because national security issues are starting to take center stage, the analysts believe Brown is now a formidable candidate. From their write-up:

If Brown wins, this will not be a wave election, it will be a tsunami election.
And all politics are local. No reflection on BHO. /s
If Scott Brown is the best we can do I still say go for it. I gave him $50 to take over the Kennedy seat for those 2 years. Ok so he’s not one of us. Still after 30+years of Kennedy you take advantage of every opportunity. This is one.
If We The People insist Ted Cruz lead the Senate, it’s all over for the bad guys.
I gave him 2 donations this cycle. It’s a good investment. Hope others will too.
Warner’s lead in Virginia is falling fast.—especially since his dismal showing in debates on Monday.
For reasons that illustrate that humans are social creatures, most toss up elections tend to break one way. This is especially so when national issue are on center stage. With Obams and his Administration on parade with their handling of the Ebola crisis, the break may well be in Republicans favor across the board. 10 Senate races are considered toss up with a few more than may be late to the party.
I think that 8 seats are well within reach, 10 are doable, and there’s still room for a surprise or two. At the very least, 6 is looking like a pretty safe bet.
I’ve heard that Brown has run an excellent campaign, evidently it is paying off.
If we cannot take Senate from Democrats this election season then we are doomed. Getting Senate should be easy and I keep hearing how close these races are.
if they win NH i think it will be a good night for the GOP....
we?? we (Tea Party which i’m sure you’re one of) kicked butt in 2010 but the GOPe came in and effed everything up by tossing us aside...this has nothing to do with “we”- its all on the GOPe’s shoulders...
Brown is a moderate and at least campaigns against the the extremism of La Raza and the Chamber.
State after state is slowly tilting in our direction.
Welcome to the party, Cook. I said it was a tossup a few weeks ago, you know when the polls started showing that it was.
I think Scott Brown is going to pull it off!!!
We shall see.
