Obama admin. to allow thousands of Haitians into U.S. without visas (Over 100,000)

The ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee took the Obama administration to task Friday for its “irresponsible” plan to allow as many as 100,000 Haitians to immigrate to the U.S. without a visa.

Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said the administration’s Haitian Family Reunification Parole Program — which will allow thousands of Haitians awaiting a U.S. visa to enter the country and legally apply for work permits — is “an irresponsible overreach of the executive branch’s authority.”

“Which countries are next on President Obama’s list?” Mr. Grassley said. “Will there by medical screenings before entry? Will work permits be granted automatically? How will this affect American workers?”(continued)

Yes. Enough of this taking to task and expressing concern. We’re paying these senators and congresspeople to represent us. When are they going to do it?

When I lived in South Florida in the late ‘80s, there were some Haitians around, and for the most part, they were hardworking people with sunny dispositions. Really personable Haitian kids worked at supermarkets and in other places. My friend was in a hospital for weeks, and her Haitian attendants did more for her than anyone else, even the Haitian floor sweepers were thoughtful and pleasant. The Haitians had such a good reputation as reliable workers, the resident ghetto populace hated them.

When I spent nine months in Florida in 2009, there were a lot of Haitians and for the most part they were grumbling and nasty. Haitian gangs were notoriously bloodthirsty, cutting throats all over town. Even the other gangs stayed out of their way.

Letting 100,000 Haitians in now would be like inviting 100,000 sneezing Ebola patients to dinner. Dangerous.

The big question is, why?

What do they have to offer besides more unemployed and more requests for handouts?

I just bet he will send all those Aids ridden Haitians to secret locations across the country, nothing like having two crises to not let go to waste...Aids AND Enterovirus.

They have absolutely NOTHING TO OFFER this country but overloading the health system, the school system, welfare, unemployment. Redistribution. Fundamental CHANGE. It’s happening. And it’s not over yet.

He’s just pushing ahead, unhindered.

Nobody, except for a certain law-abiding, America-loving segment of the citizenry, pushes back. Why wouldn’t he just keep going - nothing, thus far, stops him! He’s laughing up his sleeve.

The “transformation”’of America continues. I think he’s going scorched-earth now.

I hope that Kenyan goat humper burns in hell forevermore for what he did to this country.

“We are grateful that the administration has stepped up to the plate and done the right thing,” said Cheryl Little, executive director of Americans for Immigrant Justice. “I was hoping it wouldn’t be as restrictive as it seems to be in terms of which Haitians who are eligible to join their loved ones here, but obviously it’s going to benefit a number of Haitian families who have been waiting for this since the earthquake.”

Obama and the dems don’t give two sh*ts about what these people offer to the country. They want more monolithic identity groups to deliver votes.

That is my question, also. Where does Obama get the authority to do this?
