Replace “women” with wives and that statement is 100% valid. Not pc but the truth.
Years ago (long before PC really took hold) my Lit professor told this joke to our class: “Some say translations are like women - if they’re beautiful, they are not faithful; and if they’re faithful, they’re not beautiful”. Imagine if any professor tried to make a joke like that today!
