As a manager the last thing I want is to have more union membership because of the reasons we are all aware of.
But if the governor did this there is more to it than just shifting them like the article implies. Managers cannot be in the same bargaining unit as, the rank and file which means they would have to go through a process of creating a new unit, getting that approved, identifying the new members and their jib descriptions, then the members would have to ratify an agreement, and so on and so forth.
In other words this is done by more than a stroke of a pen.
That may be but even so the different units will still be part of the same whole and devoted to the same ends: higher wages, benefits and retirement income at the expense of the taxpayer, and the furtherance of Democrat party elected officials.
