My theory is that we are looking in the wrong direction to stop this thing.

We are concerned about closing our borders to West Africans. I agree with that. But that will protect us for only a little while.

My concern is that we need to contain this from moving EAST, not West. If this virus spreads across Africa and makes its way to India, we are in big trouble.

India would be a perfect place for this virus to land. Sanitation and conditions in the huge cities are horrible and the contagion would run through that environment, killing those left over from the dengue fever epidemic.

Travel to and from India is many times larger than that in Africa. And it goes everywhere.

From India, it is a hop, skip, and a jump from China. Once in China, their markets will collapse. Who is going to want an Ebola-phone, tablet, computer, or Ebola clothes.

Yes, sealing our borders is fine. Its not going to do a thing until we stop this in Africa. THIS is our issue.

The world needs to seal off the Hot Zone. Healthcare workers can go in but anyone coming out must be quarantined for 45 days. No soup runs for anyone. No ifs, ands or buts.
