Well, if you thought the Wendy Davis gubernatorial campaign, which has devolved into a clown show, couldn’t get any worse; you should brace yourselves. She had this tweet featuring a bunch of eager young Davis supporters, but there’s only one problem. It was actually a group of volunteers for the College Republican Federation of Virginia who posed for a photo after knocking on doors for Ed Gillespie, the GOP senate hopeful in the Old Dominion.

Just goes to prove that an ivy league education means $hit.

Education and common sense are two different things.

@DonnyFerguson: A can of Mr. Pibb would get 33% of the vote against a Republican in a statewide Texas race.

Wendy Davis is at 32%.

It is amazing that 40% would support her, really.

Cornyn is an idiot but he doesn’t need to really campaign because Wendy Davis will get him elected on Abbotts coattails.

Davis's problem is this map:

She lost her own primary (to an unfunded, unknown candidate)in the Democrat counties she has to win in order to be Governor...

I get the blue on the border, and the big cities where the interstates intersect, but what’s the deal with the lone, seemingly isolated blue counties in the middle/east and that one in the northern section?

Rural counties but I can’t answer why except that historical patterns, families,
etc may still have a large impact. The one up north has less than 1,400 pop and
the one in Eastex has some 14,000.
