And yes, she DID get pregnant out of wedlock. And the boy she had the baby with, Levi Johnson even went and posed in the nude for Playgirl magazine to parlay his newfound infamy.

Setting aside your question re “embarrassment”, I think most Freepers see through the media strategy of Palin defamation at every opportunity ergo your post is perceived by “some” Freepers as “being on the other side” or “not helpful” .
Assuming this, the same medias transparent strategy of silence about our sitting Vice Presidents son adds oxygen to the flame of freeper anger at Freepers who some see as siding with the Wolf Blitzers of the world’s political “shine the light” strategy.
Meaning, shine that blinding media light on the Palins but not on doper Biden !
Bristol’s choice of boyfriend, getting pregnant - those are embarrassments. What her low-life ex does after they split is no shame on her.
Thank goodness I’m not held accountable for a former girlfriend of mine who, last I heard, was a homeless tweaker, having abandoned her husband and 4 children. I feel sorry for her husband and grateful for my good fortune to not have suffered such a tragic turn of events; but I’m not embarrassed because of her actions (and neither is my mom).
