Retirement is lethal for men. Have seen it first hand too many times — man retires, dead within a year. Something keeps the body going when there’s a mission to accomplish.

I’ve been retired from the Army since 1993; officially out longer than I was in. I miss it every day, but my job was a cakewalk compared to what others have been through.
