No surprise. The best I can say about Bush Jr. is that he comes across as a nice guy. Whether that is true or not, I can’t say as I never met the man. As for his presidency, it was a disaster as was Clinton’s and Bush Sr.

The Bushes got us into Iraq twice. It resulted in the death and maiming of thousands of US military and innocent Iraqis. It also resulted in the spending of hundreds of billions of dollars which our nation did not have. Lastly, it resulted in the overthrow and death of the one person, Saddam Hussein, who while a dictatorial tyrant was successful in holding that mess of a country together just as Tito was able to do the same in Yugoslavia. In Saddam’s place, we now have ISIS, a barbaric bunch of Muslims who have committed atrocities which would make Hitler proud.

I agree about Jr Bush being a nice guy. But, we all know that the blue blood Bush family is above any sort of politics to the detriment of their own political party. Yep, screw them all. Nobody respects a non fighter these days.

But, to me the bad thing about Bush Jr and the Iraq war was he traded runaway domestic spending for Demrat tolerance of war spending.
