Filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch Running for President in 2016
Fox News ^ | October 24, 2014 | The Kelly File

Posted on 10/24/2014 9:27:37 PM PDT by lone star annie

Conservative documentary filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch was on “The Kelly File” tonight, where he told Megyn that he is exploring the idea of running for president.

“I will announce in the future that I am going to run for the presidency, and the reason why I’m doing that Megyn is because I’m absolutely in love with my country, I’m in love with the American people. I want to protect them like I would protect my children, like I would protect your children, in the sense that somebody has to step up and get this country back on track, to protect Americans, their jobs, their lives, their health."

We have had previous office holders and politicians run but where did that get us?

Bleeech. Heard him prattle on about how he would have ahead of Ebola and ISIS without a single suggestion as to how. He is a blow hard

Not one specific from him

I stand with Ted

I know and respect too many of our troops to ever vote them to serve under a Commander &Chief that has never stood in their boots. One simply cannot expect to rely on advisors alone , who are often totally wrong ( Karl Rove - Susan Rice / Valerie whatsherface) . The President himself MUST KNOW. America needs to be led by a warrior , not by lawyers. James Conway , Allen West. It’s simply too dangerous a world to entrust our national fate to clueless civs. Our leader needs to have heard the bees himself...

He has to be a senator/governor/congressman because the professional career politicians have done oh so well for all of us. Sheesh. Look at where they’ve gotten us to this point. You don’t think they’re the problem and not the solution to the problem? Look at the Constitutional requirements to be president. It says nothing about having to come up through the ranks.

I heard this a couple of weeks ago. I checked the guy out. He sounds very much like a young Ronald Reagan.

Better: he’s not a Professional Politician. He has no Special Interest Groups to woo, no previous political partners to placate, and no campaign contributors to pay back once he is in office.

Although I wish for a Cruz and Palin ticket, between him and Joe the Plumber I can not honestly think of another candidate who more closely resonates with us everybloke lot.

I think even Ronaldus Maximus (Ronald R. Reagan) would be pleased with this potential candidate.

I hope Mike R. agrees.

I want someone who will call Hillary out for the lying commie benghazi-murdering ugly hag she is!

Don't I wish. Unfortunately, she is protected by the vile elitist limousine liberal lickspittles to this very day. I have been praying for her and her chicom-loving contribution-generator of a "husband" to be rightfully portrayed in matching orange Correctional Facilities jumpsuits for years with no success.

It's still possible, though. With luck.

Diddo. He does the Conservatives no good if he adds to the dividing of the vote. Ole Jeb will slip thru the cracks. It’s bad enough that 49% of Libertarians will not vote for a Republican. We need every vote we can get to nominate the most conservative candidate capable of winning the election as our candidate.

Don’t think I ever read an article about him here before 2008.

I'm sure he was mentioned plenty in 2004: The Chicago machine's dirty tricks against Jack Ryan, the possibility of Mike Ditka challenging him, his speech at the Democratic National Convention, loser Alan Keyes becoming his opponent, the landslide defeated of the aforementioned loser Alan Keyes (the 43-point margin is the worst defeat ever for a U.S. Senate race is Illinois.)

I would like to see him run, at least long enough to blast the leftists and point out all the bad things they stand for. It is a breath of fresh air to have someone stand up and say it like it is with no sugar coating PC crap.

I’m still supporting Ted Cruz, because he is a brilliant debater and staunch conservative with a true vision.

I also believe the Democrats will run Castro from Houston as their ultimate candidate.

Last time Republicans nominated a media guy, how did it turn out? Oh wait...

He seems like great shades of Virgil Goode - an unknown who many here were pushing for last election cycle. We are officially a circular firing squad.

No, I am the discontinuity.

I heartily condemned the Goode fans as being pretenders. He pretended to be a relevant candidate and they pretend to vote.

Lynch is a pretender

There are two real candidates. One primaried by Republicans and one primaried by democrats.

All others are pretenders. Their supporters are pretenders as well, delusional pretenders.

You could grab people at random out of the crowd at a high school football game and nine out of ten of them would make a better president than three of the last six. Maybe I’m being a bit harsh on football fans there.

Correct, but this adds color to a gray Republican field.

So you are saying just ignore the fact that when she was First Wife to BJ all her decisions and orders were not mandated to be assumed as coming from the-rapist-in-chief?

Hillary didn't run for President after Bill's terms though.

She ran for the Senate in NY state.

Then she was Secretary of State.

He has to be a senator/governor/congressman because the professional career politicians have done oh so well for all of us.

Doesn't have to be a career politician.

If one has a military or business background, then was elected to Governor or Senate, and then ran for President, that would be perfect! Get elected to a lower office first.

Look at the Constitutional requirements to be president. It says nothing about having to come up through the ranks.

Look at the presidents back then. None of them were working in the fields and then suddenly decided they want to make a vanity run for President. They all had distinguished, varied backgrounds that would put most of the modern era Presidents to shame.

Lynch is a pretender?

You mean like the guy who let his gloves drop to his side after the first debate?

Or like the guy who left his campaign to have bailout negotiations in DC?

Or that same guy who hired some real classy advisers to sabotage his VP candidate? Those kinds of pretenders?

Give the guy a chance to prove himself before writing him off. You do realize he's a communicator and businessman, don't you? We on this board should think those two qualities should at least count for something. Evidently not.

Ok.......

If he starts showing up for talks with cavuto, he’ll be undeclared as a pretender
