NextGen challenges climate skeptics in final midterm push

Billionaire Tom Steyer's political group NextGen Climate is going to try to shame climate skeptics into changing their stance on global warming in a final midterm push before November.

NextGen is running a "science denier week" with events planned in the Senate and gubernatorial races it is involved in across the country.

"Today we are issuing a specific challenge to deniers, giving them one last time to come clean before voters vote," said Chris Lehane, Steyer's top adviser. The "Stone Age Challenge" will ask candidates if they want to "protect the communities you represent" or "continue to support caveman-like policies from the Stone Age."

More mischief from Tom Steyer. Of course, this all perfectly OK. His motives are pure. Not like those evil Koch Brothers.

Sorry - I support the scientific method and facts. Not peer pressure or politicized “science”

When I am confronted by climate change kool-aid drinkers, I ask them one simple question.

Now that it is an established scientific fact that there has been no global warming in the past 18+ plus years, are you prepared to agree with the scientific evidence or are you going to continue to support the make believe of climate change?

That usually backs them off.

Obviously, Steyer didn’t become a billionaire by selling rubber chickens. OR MAYBE HE DID.

So he’s not going to defeat them through a debate on the science and the facts-he’s going to “shame” them into changing their minds. That’s how the left “debates”, on everything.

Exactly. Science decided by “consensus” isn’t science. But forced “consensus” on every issue is the left’s idea of moral and scientific high ground.

The Earth has been getting warmer or colder for 4,000,000,000 years. The only constant in Earths environment is change. It will continue to change till it’s consumed by the Sun.

Man has been on earth .00075% of Earth’s age or 300,000 years.
Earth will continue to change after man is long gone.

The universe is dynamic. Suns supernova, galaxies collide, planets are formed and lost in black holes daily.

Man is merely a brief observer, not the cause.

Be not afraid!! This scare attempt is based on atmospheric temperature guesses derived from inherently flawed mathematical models. The graphically plotted estimates thus derived from about 40 different models all disagreed amongst themselves, and all deviated widely from the values obtained from actual measurements.

Look up “The Canadian Climate Model’s Epic Failure, dtd Oct 2013, which compared three actual measurements w. 30 models evaluated by the IPCC .

They are the ones refusing to accept science. They want to manipulate science so the Dems’ richey riches can get big tax breaks and grants for research and technology into “clean alternative fuels.”

Do you mean like importing a plaque pandemic into the United States Lehane?

..."continue to support caveman-like policies from the Stone Age."...wow, with subtle propaganda like this, they just can't fail to convince everyone with an IQ of less than 75.....
