What a heartbreak.

I think kids (and I have two around her age) are too un-sexist. Not kidding. They are so pro male and female strength in society, so “women can do anything men can do.” It’s been drilled into them.

WELL, ITS NOT TRUE.

If this had been most 18-year-old men, staggeringly drunk in town, lost, he might have had his wallet stolen. He wouldn’t have been raped and murdered. Even drunk he could take on most guys, and most gay rapists aren’t as big as this fella.

Maybe a college guy can be left alone to walk home drunk. Don’t leave your female friends alone and drunk, ever. Come on.

I feel for the family. Prayers up.

Young women need to understand their vulnerabilities. I learned that on my first date. Women must always be on their guard - it’s called life!

No, it is not even remotely true that females are the equal of males. Trying to be so or insist so can only lead to trouble.

Nobody here made it that way. It just is.
