I agree. Was just reading up on Quantrill a few days ago after watching “True Grit” (John Wayne version of course) for the 100th time.

That is cool stuff. I had a great Uncle who was one of Quantrill’s right-hand men. Lucky for him, Ves Akers live into his late 70s and died about 100 hundred years ago. For years, I have gathered family info for an eventual book, which constantly reminds me of The Outlaw Josey Wales. I will probably be retired before I finish the damn book.
