So this guy up and joins a so-called “religion” that has enslavement as one of its core tenets, and he’s PO’d at citizens of the country who fought the bloodiest war in their history to eliminate it because some of their ancestors kept slaves before that war?

Makes me think — we should have classes in school on slavery. If people were honestly educated about slavery, it would change the whole conversation — because the Bad Guys in the modern history of slavery are the Africans and the Muslims. By comparison, whites come out looking pretty good.
