I have an idea.

Due to Ebola’s high mortality rate (up to 70%) I can see the reason for extraordinary precautions.

If the nurse, or future nurses/doctors, have an issue with a 21-day quarantine due to their potential exposure to Ebola then I suggest that they post a personal guarantee bond for $ 1,000,000. The bond would be used to pay for medical treatment of anyone who came into contact with them and later developed a confirmed case of Ebola.

Why $ 1,000,000?

According to posting on FR it takes about $ 1,000 an hour to treat an Ebola patient. Michael Dugan’s hospital bill ran nearly $ 500,000.

This personal bond could cover the treatment costs of two confirmed Ebola patients of multiple people being tested for possible Ebola exposure.

My question is why not?

If this self-centered LIB nurse has a license to practice nursing, it should be yanked. What a putz! Because she wants to go bowling, go to a deli or something, she is willing to put innocent others at risk of dieing. What a putz!
