No, they’re not. There are good guys. The ultraleft cabal controlling a lot of the state parties work hard to keep moral and decent citizens from running. Maine has an excellent Governor in Paul LePage, he’s pro-life. Rhode Island had a pro-life Conservative Republican Governor until 2011, Don Carcieri. Electing Conservatives there IS possible, but people can’t elect Conservatives if they’re not OFFERED the choice.
One thing I won’t do is choose between horrible and execrable. Do that, and I become a part of the problem, and I have no intention of enabling that madness.
“Losing the White House to you know who meant Mitt Romney is a loser.”
Right, but I might vote for Sarah Palin. There are always exceptions to the rule. For example:
Tom DeLay Exonerated by Final Court in Texas; Liberal Media Virtually Silent
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3219944/posts
... The 18-year war waged by Democrats against DeLay has cost him an estimated $12 million in legal fees... [18 years!]
o o o o
I’d consider Tom DeLay in a senate race, even in a state outside of Texas.
Sometimes losers come back. Reagan lost to Ford. FDR as the VP candidate lost in a landslide to the ticket of Harding & Coolidge. Then again, “Marcia” Coakley ain’t Reagan or FDR.
“You choose from your choices.”
Right on!
I’m glad that Carter and Reagan allied with Afghanistan during the Cold War for example. We needed to defeat the USSR, and that should have been the dawning of a great new age. Sadly, Clinton blew such a rare opportunity.
DeLay is 67. I doubt he’s going to be running for any other offices for the long term. With Cornyn not up again until 2020, he’d be almost 74 at the start of the 2021 session. Then again, Gov. Abbott could appoint him to the remainder of Cruz’s 2 years in January 2017. ;-)
Eighteen year legal smear. That is really sick.
Carter willfully lost us Iran. That’s a disaster that has had horrific repercussions over the past 35 years.
“Carter willfully lost us Iran.”
Yep, but Reagan’s defeat of the USSR was a bigger deal, IMO. With the right leader, the US could have formed a new UN that only included genuine republics. Instead, Bill Clinton propped up China.
He had to be punished for the unforgiveable sin of the Republicans winning the House after 40 years by the Democrats. Destroy him before he became Speaker. Now we’ve had a milquetoast Speaker (Hastert) and a gutless wonder cry-baby (Boehner). Of course, technically the Speaker doesn’t have to be a member of the House. He’d be available in January to ascend to the job that should’ve been his in 2011.
I’d be thrilled if Gohmert were elected Speaker too.
Primaries don’t count in my rule. Neither does VP.
Less and Less families want to go thru the political process....you CHOOSE from your choices!!
Or you choose neither.
when you choose neither you are in effect declaring yourself to be politically irrelevant.
I don’t play the two evils game. Evil is evil.
You just do not understand the American political process
Guess not. I mean studying it for over 3 decades and all...
“Why you should attend the always bad news?”
When you choose “neither” you are choosing the Democrat!! Geesh.....even stupid Democrats know that if they don’t vote, it’s a vote for Republicans!!! My goodness...we are at WAR to save this country...we are at a tipping point, and WOE to the people that sit on the sidelines.
