Yes, sadly. She was a young and beautiful mother whose father died from colon cancer at the same age. After the colonoscopy, she thought she was safe. But, as it turns out, those who have a certain genetic predisposition to colon cancer tend to get this type - with the tumor growing on the outside. She tried everything, fought with everything she had. But the type of cancer she had was so fierce. She was gone within a year.
