I’ve never understood the liberals on this. Why do they not organize efforts to get people an ID so they can vote?

I’ve heard all the arguments about how its hard to get birth cert and other documents to get a state issued ID. Why don’t the liberals do ID drives, just as they do get out the vote drives?

If somebody needs a ride to a government office to get ID, how about good liberals give them a ride?

If somebody needs to send away for a birth cert from out of state and doesn’t understand how to do this, how about good liberals step in and help them fill out the forms, get it notarized, or whatever else is needed,,so that their voters can get their ID???

Voter ID laws limit their ability to commit vote fraud. That's why Democrats are opposed to this. No other reason.

I didn’t understand it either until:

My son lost his SS card- he doesn’t drive because he is mentally impaired- he is higher functioning-able to read, write and get around on the bus. Doesn’t drive. Anyways, for him to get his State ID he needed his SS card, to get a replacement for SS card he needed a photo ID that had his birth date and his SS # on the card. Took him a month before he found an old bus card that had that information on the ID.

So there are folks that can’t get a Photo Id due to the above example. Also, if you owe fines(unpaid parking tickets, court fee’s, etc) you can’t get a State ID until they are paid.

I learned also that you can only get a maximum of 10 replacement SS cards in your life-time.

For years various states have said picture ID will be provided to a person IN THEIR OWN HOME and the idea was shot down....I don’t want to hear about it being a REAL issue with anyone. It’s simply another maneuver to avoid revealing who is eligible to vote and who isn’t but we all know that already. When are the really stupid people going to discover that not all of us are as stupid as they are?
