It's not just political rhetoric when Hillary says "Dont Let Anybody Tell You That Businesses Create Jobs."

I'm very much a "free-enterprise" guy myself, but from the very first time I read about these ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft I knew they were likely to be deemed illegal in a lot of places.
I've also said that the auto insurance industry is going to do more to shut these things down than governments do. A lot of these insurance policies don't look kindly on a motorist who runs a cab service in his free time.

We can’t have any private-enterprising entrepreneurs out there creating jobs now, can we?

Actually this might be pretty hilarious. Remember the Obamacult priest David Plouffe? I think he is a big executive at that company.
The statist being slapped around by the gubmint.

So I take it cash flows from the taxicab companies to politicians' pockets and such interruption is the reason the upstarts must be stopped?
Granted, I speculate, but how DID every corner of government end up greedy and corrupt? I mean, we see it every bloody day, another freak in power with his/her hand out. I once thought Russia was bad that way, looks like they exported it here.
