By Thad, I assume you mean Thad Cochran of MS?

Now since you are neither a citizen from Kentucky nor Mississippi but Wisconsin, don't you think it is up to the voters of these two states who they want to vote for and not you?

Mitch declared “war” on “tea party types”...

And, by extension, on a great many of this Nation's born-again Christians.

Politics is compromise.

Not a politician; just a registered voter.

Even the rhinos voted against Obamacare. That’s important to remember because that bill was the most damaging in our history. Want more like that? Go ahead, sit home and don’t vote. That is just what Harry Reid and the Rats want you to do.

Go ahead, sit home and don’t vote.

I truly and sincerely wish you, and the others, would eliminate this lying accusation which you DO NOT KNOW for a fact, unless a FReeper has stated he stayed at home and did not vote in a particular election.

Politics is compromise.

GOP funding of the obama agenda (Obamacare, abusive IRS, etc.) in the lame duck is not compromise. It’s surrender.

One reason above all: Harry Read.

That contemptable little slug will be pushed to the sidelines. I need no other reason to vote GOP on 11/4.

I haven't voted yet but will hold my nose when I will vote for him. Sometimes you just have to do that, but I refuse to vote for any rat.

I voted for Joe Carr in the primary

“As an alternative, I’m putting forward the notion of staying true to one’s conservative leanings and vote the best you prayerfully can. “

And then part two of this plan is what? Conservatives are unable to even beat RINO senators in primaries! We have the nerve to call the GOP the “stupid party” while we arent even smart enough to beat a RINO in South Carolina.

We suck at social media, have terrible TV news outlets and still depend on AM talk radio in the 21st century to “get the word out”. But we keep thinking we are owed victories by doing everything half @ssed or else we are going to stay home and let the Dem have it.

Will the GOPE give us everything we want? Hell no. Will it be a better placeholder than a Democrat so in the next election we get our act together in the primaries and actually concentrate on winning? Absolutely.

What would an R have to do to get you to NOT vote for them?

Heard that.

Not a Republican.

Constitutional conservative Christian. That's why I'm at FR.

Maybe the GOP e/e’s who are doing ALL of the backstabbing should have thought about that before starting their traitorous behaviors.

You get a clue. We see what you e/e’s do and we’ve left your plantation/reservation. There is no going back. If you want conservatives to line up, stop stabbing us and remove the knives.

Honestly.....I do not trust most of the Republican Party, especially the GOPe folks!!! The salvation lies, I believe, in electing more conservatives to the Republican Party. That, I believe, over time, will weed the RINOs into political oblivion.

The problem, for our country, however, is today. Next Tuesday, on November 4, 2014....we the American people, of all political stripes, must simply turn out and vote to destroy the entire Democrat Party, politically....for quite obvious reasons....starting with anti-American, destructive to the USA, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama!!! it is as simple as that.

Now...is not the time for internal squabble...ya gotta play with the hand you have been dealt!!! Obama must be made an instant “LAME DUCK”, next Tuesday...period!!!

"We have the nerve to call the GOP the “stupid party” while we arent even smart enough to beat a RINO in South Carolina."

The deck has been stacked against us by the GOP e/e's. They make sure the dems can vote in our primaries in conservatives states. I'm absolutely certain they've crafted this policy on purpose. There is no reason South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi and other Southern conservative states should allow democrat cross over voting. It is done so they can manipulate the election and get their RINOs into office.

I see the use of the word “purists” in this context in the same vein as anti-semite or bigot.

It’s an ad hominem directed at conservatives and its only purpose is to demean, ridicule and divide.

Are my responses amounting to squabbling to you? I understand how you feel and just want you to lower your blood pressure a bit and look at how many poster on this FR website have been taken in so many times in the past by these types of claims and have lived to see the results.

My voting cribsheet is already made and, Lord willing, next Tuesday, I'll get to exercise the privilige many have died to protect, including the man I'm named for, who my dad watched as he was blown to smithereens in Southern Italy.

Look....I agree with you...you are right on about past remarks and living to see the results. But...I just believe, this specific election is critical!!! And I am also sorry for your loss. I just want you to know, that this American, knows what freedom, the right to vote and express one’s opinion is kept that way and protected by those who willingly gave their lives for us to keep these priceless treasures, freedom, liberty, opportunity, the right vote, etc.!!! God be with you!!!

And I am also sorry for your loss.

What "loss" are you talking about? The death of my dad's friend in WWII who died before I was conceived?
