[ Voting registration should be purged every two years (after a national election). If you want to vote in the next election, you have to re-register.

That and hanging by the neck till dead anyone who is enguaging in voter/election fraud...
When I lived in Texas many years ago, the law was that you had to re-register every 2-4 years. Not sure if that is still the case.
