Wonderful throws by the Giants! /s

Tim Hudson gets the hook. Starting pitching failing Bochy. Your idea to pull Bumgarner early from game 1 seems less nutty to me now.

Just got home and just saw the Royals tie the ball game.

Doesn’t make much sense. Hudson may call it a career after tonight and they yank him so soon.

OK. I lived in KC since 1952. I remember when the A’s arrived in 1955. I remember Bill Vaughan predicting every year that the A’s would win the pennant. I remember the A’s being basically a Yankee Farm club. I remember Finley moving the A’s. I remember the three losses to the Yankee’s in the playoffs. I remember the 1980 W.S. loss to the Phillies. I remember the improbable down by 3-1 in both the playoffs and W.S. win in 1985. Just give me one more.

Yes, and now Guthrie seems to be settling down.

Stop your complaining. I have lived in Buffalo all my life. You have a World Series championship and a Super Bowl with the Chiefs. Buffalo has NO Super Bowls or Stanley Cups in six tries. Two AFL championships don't count, as the AFL was considered an inferior league at the time. I just want one.

Good, don't bother to plan a visit to KC anytime soon, even though we are known for our friendliness, we could make an an exception for you Pete!

Last I noticed, both teams made it to the series as a result of being a wild card winner.

Oh, and by the way, the last time the Giants faced the Royals (3 games), the Royals shut the Giants out!

Just sayin.

Me too, though don't remember too much re the A's other than everyone loathed Charlie Finley. Glad they moved to the left coast as he fits there very well.

We've loved the Royals since day one and continue to.

Also, in the regular season, The Royals had a better record than The Giants did.

Yes, but we don’t count, we’re Kansas City, which is after all nothing but a “cowtown.” (/sarc)
