“Sounds like you should go and keep her company until they know of she does or does not have it.”
I would have no problem at all keeping her company as she is exhibiting no symptoms of Ebola and if she has no symptoms, she cannot transmit Ebola.
The fact is that I have a greater chance of stepping on a elevator today, catching the flu and dying of the flu, than I would have catching Ebola from this nurse.
That may be true, but I do not think they know enough about Ebola to give absolutes. Every other virus you are contagious for 24 hours before any symptoms show. I, for one, am not convinced this isn’t the case here. There have not been enough cases in civilized countries to be able to say absolutely, without a doubt, that is the case. I think we have to error on the side of caution.
How hard can it be to stay in your home for 3 weeks, now only 11 more days.
Catching the flu or stepping on an elevator have nothing to do with Ebola.
Americans should have had zero chance of catching Ebola. The only reason Ebola came to America is because of the bad immigration and migration policies of this administration.
