The better team won the World Series. If the other team was better then they would have won.

Keep it classy, San Fransicko.

Aren’t the Royals “Rush’s” team?

The good news is that since next season is an odd-numbered year, the Giants won’t win the World Series...But I’m putting my money on them in 2016.

He worked for the Royals in his early 20’s.

Yah, I would say yes, the Royals are Limbaugh’s team. He
also loves the Steelers, a team I never support unless they
play the Cowboys. Been a Rush listener since early days in Sacramento. ....1985. But I don’t give a sh!t about his favorite teams.

Congrats to the Royals.

“The San Fransicko area will go nuts of course.
The fudgepackers in the Castro district will perform unspeakable acts by way of celebration.
Oh, well.”

Just picked our daughter up at 5 in SF. She works right across the street from the Giants ballpark. Didn’t look to me that the people on the street were “fudgepackers.” They just looked like ordinary people who were hanging out waiting for the game to start (the park was open in some areas where there are big screens available). Your comments are disgusting and not worthy of attribution on FR! And FWIW, SF is on a roll in terms of rebuilding some historically blighted areas thanks to the likes of Google, Apple, Facebook, et.al. Your city should be so lucky.

Skeeter, you NAILED IT.

And let’s not forget Jeremy Affeldt, who came in to the game in the second inning - earlier than he ever had been before. He had a knee brace on and pitched longer than he usually does. He threw calm on the game.

And Joe Panik showing uncanny baseball sense by scooping that grounder (which Fox called as shooting through into the outfield) to Crawford covering second, who fired it to a stretched-out Belt at first. The runner slid head-first into first and was erased on the replay review. Crucial reversal.

And MadBum overshadowed the Royals from the first, then carried his own team on his back from the fifth on.

The best of the three championships this decade. Truly remarkable, given that the team was held together with duct tape and baling wire.

Um. The team itself has zero to do with Pelosi, etc. Jeremy Affeldt spoke at my church last year, and there are some tremendous human beings on that team.

That’s a fact! Those Royals are dangerously good. What a thriller.

The Giants players have zero to do with the dump that is SF politics. They’re from Texas, North Carolina... you know, normal places in the country.

Pablo Sandoval brought his family up from Venezuela to watch. During every single National Anthem, his head is down and he’s mouthing the words earnestly. He knows how fortunate he is to be here.

I was hoping for the Royals to win but it was a great series and a great Game Seven. Pablo Sandoval was outstanding last night and his run broke the tie.

This was the first time a team won the 1st, 3rd, and 5th World Series in a five-year span without winning the other two. (The Yankees won five years in a row from 1949 to 1953.)
