It might have been presented hysterically much like global warming is but trust us on this one, one day, population will be a problem, and critical thinking will lead you to conclude that it can happen over night. Some black swan event, like Monsanto’s genetic modification of seed wipes out 50% of the food stores and production capability and viola ... instant overpopulation.

LIBs are sick ghouls. They really want everyone but them to die: abortion, central American respiratory disease, aids, ebola, withholding care from Veterans until they die, death panels, wars, pandemics. Really nice people there, those criminal insane LIBs.

So when the Irish died off because of potato blight it was ‘overpopulation’? Gimme a break.

Don’t allow your attentions to be riveted to the politicians, or you will continue to lose. Look at the constituents in the shadows—those who pay them the most and pay them on both sides.

What do the Irish have to do with global overpopulation — aside from being part of it?

Yea, when the world doesn’t have enough resources to sustain itself, we’ll be overpopulated. Nothing hard to figure out there. Something like that might have been responsible for a war or two in the past.

My point was this: if the world population was 1,000 people TOTAL - and a blight killed off half the food supply - by YOUR definition there would be 'overpopulation'.

That's just wrong.

My points about Irish famines - caused by the potato blight - was that it's wasn't 'overpopulation' that was the problem. That didn't caused the deaths. It was the potato blight - - and a nation based on a single crop that caused the deaths.

Your earlier example of generically modified crops having a problem is no different than if non-generically modified crops have a problem. Did you mean to mix those two concepts?

Another example - - Chinese famines caused by Mao's collective farming... millions of Chinese died of starvation. Not because of 'overpopulation' but because of progressive stupidity - ideas that kill. Million of Russians died of starvation when Stalin tried the same bullsh*t idea. Neither die-off had anything to do with 'overpopulation' - both die-offs had to do with bad political ideas. I don't believe we know how many people the earth will sustain - but I do know this - when 'liberals' weigh in on the matter with their control freak ideas millions of people die.

“The source of man’s rights is not divine law or congressional law, but the law of identity. A is A—and Man is Man. Rights are conditions of existence required by man’s nature for his proper survival. If man is to live on earth, it is right for him to use his mind, it is right to act on his own free judgment, it is right to work for his values and to keep the product of his work. If life on earth is his purpose, he has a right to live as a rational being: nature forbids him the irrational. Any group, any gang, any nation that attempts to negate man’s rights, is wrong, which means: is evil, which means: is anti-life.”

“The Declaration of Independence stated that men “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” Whether one believes that man is the product of a Creator or of nature, the issue of man’s origin does not alter the fact that he is an entity of a specific kind — a rational being — that he cannot function successfully under coercion, and that rights are a necessary condition of his particular mode of survival.”

If man gives me my rights, then man can take them away. This the BedRock to the efforts by the Dems-commies. There is no God, therefore your rights are what we say they are.

My (our) rights come from our (my) Creator. They are removable by man. Ever.

Good luck to you in mans world.

Ayn Rand isn’t saying man’s rights come from other men. And can you prove there’s a god? Can you call god into a court of law as a witness?

And would you be willing to go to the electric chair for something your great great grandfather did before you were even born?

I do not HAVE to prove God exists. The evidence is all around me. Life is not a cosmic accident. The heavens themselves declare His glory.

While we cannot call God to OUR court of law, we WILL find ourselves in HIS court of Law. Denial of that does not eliminate it.

Your last sentence without some sort of context or reasoning, is senseless.
