This whole thing is kabuki theater, IMO, to provide cover for the Kenyan and his CDC.

From what I've read, she was a statistician and not a hands-on caregiver for ebola patients.

The stench of politics is very strong.

Public opinion is very much against her and, as usual, they overplayed their hand and miscalculated.

She is loving every minute of this. I know these sort of whackos. I know many Freepers fall all over themselves thinking anyone who goes to some exotic location to give medical care is Mother Teresa. Usually not so.

They go because it makes them feel special, and trendy and because they LOVE any culture where people have not progressed beyond hut living and carrying water on their heads.

And they love, LOVE, love to come back and brag about their adventures. Unfortunately for them no one usually cares outside of their bubbles filled with other a-holes just like them. Most Americans have zero curiosity about their exploits.

I do think her intent on going to Africa was to write a paper....not to be helpful. And she may have now ruined that for herself...by writing the rules for herself based on her "research".
