There is one witness — the second trooper he shot. Not sure how good his testimony will be, but I’m sure the State Police has other evidence. These guys (and gals) are not country bumpkins. They are very good at what they do.

It’s pretty hard to identify a sniper I would think, and being on the lamb for so long, he’s had plenty of time to get rid of evidence. You can’t just go into court and say “we think he did it”.
