Maybe the Mexican President might see the light and Republicans getting the Senate and with the House he might find himself in a shi! load of trouble.

Either Obama claims credit for the release, or he tells Holder to launch an investigation of Tahmooressi for arms trafficking.

Mexico is afraid of Mitch as Majority Leader?

Afraid of the man who has publicly waged war on the TEA Party? lol! Shirley you jest.

McConnell is no threat to Mexico. TEA Party patriots are. In that regard, he is their ally.

Getting him released was a Presidential requirement, although the Obola administration probably wasn’t even involved much.

This is NOT a game changer October suprise. The only surprise is that it took this long.

Once he is back on U.S. soil, the family should hold a press conference and state Obama had NOTHING to do with his release, and as a matter of fact COMPLETELY IGNORED THE PROBLEM.

wars have been started for less

If we had a real president, all money transfers to Mexico would've stopped until he was released.

Good point. This release is analogous to Iran releasing the hostages upon Reagan’s term.

The family issued the following statement: “It is with an overwhelming and humbling feeling of relief that we confirm that Andrew was released today after spending 214 days in Mexican Jail.”

I'm sure the family would do that, unfortunately the media may not afford them that luxury.

Mexico shouldn’t be receiving any money. It’s like not taking their country in the Mexican War was wrong and we have to pay for it. However they should be grateful we weren’t led by the British, or ANY other country on Earth. Then we would have, and we would have gotten away with it too.

Too bad they started it, and they would have taken much much more of America as it is today than we took from them. It was a fair trade in my eyes. They tried, they failed, and they paid for it.

It is, but it has only started recently. Mexico has been corrupt for a lot longer. Probably twice as long, or more. So I figured that was irrelevant to my point. But you are right. I agree with you.
