8 million of NYers live in the NY City and are LIBTARDS....plus illegals.... upstate and suburbs only have 7 million... so the deck is stacked... Long Island and upstate should for a seperate state(s)... 3+ million live on long island and about the same live upstate. Upstate New York would never survive without the tax revenues that come from New York City. The state spends almost $50 billion on Medicaid—the richest in the entire country. Not all of that spending goes to NYC. The upstate economy is in shambles because of lost manufacturing and over-regulation of industry as a whole. The dairy industry is controlled by the few who make sure that farmers get screwed. The upstate cities of Rochester, Albany, Syracuse and Buffalo have been decimated by lousy democrat control for decades. Fracking is the only hope for upstate.
