She could’ve opted for hospice.

But, no, she decided to use her story to help push an agenda - one that involves patients being sent home with suicide pills.

My dad died in the 1960s after 2 1/2 years at age 40 after suffering from cancer of the lymph glands. He went from a strapping 220 lbs to about 85 (he was 6’3”), and when he came home for brief stays from the hospital, he was in such extreme agony I remember seeing tears in the man’s eyes during the day and hearing him wail at night from the pain.

The “purpose” of his suffering I have yet to see. Brittany was also given a death sentence. God’s plan includes the cessation of her earthly existence. Rather than in vain with cancer treatments that would accomplish nothing but prolong the agony, she acted within the constraints of that plan.
