Just one more affirmation that there are (at least ) two Americas. They cannot coexist. There are the makers and there are the takers. This country (Freedom) will be a footnote in history. Granting access to the levers of power to absolute morons has resulted in the unreconciable morass we find ourselves in now.
I agree we obviously have deep problems here. But women candidates like Joni Ernst could be the salvation of the GOP and all of us. Smart women and not Chrstine O’Donnell and Sharon Angle types.
We’ve got to play our own version of identity politics. We need to find Joni Ernst candidates at all levels. And if we nominate a white male, it needs to be someone younger, smarter and not bombastic. I.e. people like Scott Walker.
The days of the Todd Akin and Mitch McConnell types have to be over. The younger and more diverse America won’t give a white male over the age of 50 a look unless that person is massively, massively charismatic and smart.
