Is ISIS messing with Russian interests? (Vanity)
Vanity | November 3, 2014 | From The Deer Stand

As we know, ISIS continues to fight against American interests with a weak response from our Commander in Chief. Is ISIS going after Russian interests or is President Putin too big to mess with? Just wondering.

No, they’re not. They’ve a de facto alliance and ISIS is not attacking Assad, and he’s not attacking them.

The most viscous and barbaric ISIS jihadists are from Chechnya. Putin would love to see them annihilated in Syria before they return to Russia and cause mayhem.

ISIS will take things one step at a time. They will eventually (if they are not already doing so) “mess” with Putin. By fighting Syria, Hizbollah and other Shiites, they are toying with Russia.
They will challenge Russia. It is just a matter of time but first, they want to polish off the yellow belly West, led by Obama and Europe. The main difference for them is that they RESPECT and HATE Putin while they just HATE and view Obama as despicable while they laugh at Obama. He can't even put together a real good coalition because nobody, (friend or foe) trusts him.

He’d love it so much he’s doing nothing about it, though. And neither is his pal and fellow dictator (another bogus defender of Christians) Assad.

Russia has about a 15% indigenous Muslim population or 20 million out of a 140 million population. The majority live in the Volga-Urals and Northern Caucasus.

~And eventually they will return to Chechnya and raise hell.~

I haven’t paid much attention to Chechnya for a past 7 years or so until just recently and I can say it has dramatically improved.
It is not a wonderland for sure but I think the majority of population have clearly understand benefits of cooperation with federal authorities and they would kill their jihadis by themselves to save Russians from troubles and keep their country under radar.
Another strange phenomenon is a cult of Putin in Chechnya, especially among younger people. All they are talking is how tough and great he is based on his known PR tricks which is kind of funny.
It might also sound crazy but one in two guys wear ‘I love Russia’ shirt, everybody dreams to join Russian military and so on.
I think average Chechen is more a Russian patriot these days than suburban teen from central Russia.
I have no idea is it a Muslim deception or a kind of Stockholm syndrome or something else.
No Islamic crap from them, at least when non-Muslims present.

The Muslims who lived under Soviet rule and now Putin rule know very well that Moscow indeed has REAL red lines and they enforce their will on the people with a vengeance. Do not expect to see them rear their Muslim heads too high or Putin will cut off their heads, as is, the CCCP tradition...

In the 80's, Hezbollah kidnapped Americans, Brits, bombed the US Embassy, bombed the Marines, tortured then murdered the CIA station chief Bill Buckley.

They kidnapped a Russian. The Russians sent in a KGB team. The captured a relative of the kidnappers and sent pieces of him to the kidnappers. That was the last Russian kidnapped. They don't mess around. The Chinese don't mess around. The West (including America for some reason) is wrapped up in guilt about colonialism to respond to attacks appropriately. Why aren't the Russians, Chinese and Arabs guiltly about the colonialism they conducted and still conduct?

If you allow yourself to fall into the moral-guilt trap then you will always be a sucker. No Westerner wants to imitate Putin, Stalin, Mao, Kim-Il-Song, Jun, whatever but there must be a willingness to be honest, call a spade a spade and fight on the same terms as the enemy. Israel could have wiped out her enemies decades ago but she does not because she limits herself and let's the West limit her as well. This is a flaw.
