Remember GO0 Congressman Pombo from San Joaquin County? Portuguese (Azorean) as well. And RAT Congressman Tony Coelho also is Portuguese-American. California’s Central Valley must be second only to the New Bedford region and Rhode Island in Portuguese influence.
