Still don't like that this keeps happening to the DEM's benefit, but if we're talking about a few hundred votes, meh.
Judge Carl J. Schuman with the Hartford District Superior Court ruled that two Hartford precincts can keep polling stations open until 8:30 p.m.
The ruling came several hours after Gov. Dannel P. Malloy filed a complaint in Hartford Superior Court asking that the polls in Hartford stay open for an extra hour.
On Tuesday morning, some voters had been turned away when polling places opened as many as 90 minutes late. Mr. Malloy said at a press conference that his campaign was aware of 10 polling locations that opened late.
The Registrars of Voters in Hartford offered shifting explanations for the delay, blaming staff reductions and inadequate training.
Frickin’ banana republic, this country is.
Did this happen in 1956?
Of course. Old tricks are the best tricks, right?
They need to extend voting time two hours at two 90% Democrat polling places......even after extended early voting.
So tired of this crap. I hope the GOP candidate appeals.
We are heading there!
Still time to “Bring out your dead”!
Only 2’polling sites and for only a half hour? Dems must be pissed!
If it *stays* at one extra hour, it’s not tremendously offensive.
I was expecting worse.
Expecting worse? How about machines changing votes from repubs to dems. Its out there.
Oh gosh yes and I saw two videos today.
Frickin banana republic, this country is.
*********
Sad, but true. As Dennis Miller has so aptly put it “We are a screw up nation.”
They just found out this morning there was an election! rolling eyes
Malloy must be running behind what he needs out of Hartford.
Every “problem” is manufactured by democrats. There would be no problems if polls showed them ahead by double digits.
The Austin, TX City Hall polling location was denied extended hours. The voting machines were checked last night but at 7 am this morning only one was working. Many voters gave up and left due to the long wait lines.
